• An article on the general strike in Greece unfortunately said that the proposed bond swap would wipe off an estimated €200bn from Greece's debt. That should have been €100bn (General strike brings Athens to a surprisingly calm halt, 2 December, page 40).

• The name of the GMB union negotiator Brian Strutton was misspelled as Brian Hutton in an article about industrial action by public sector workers ('I needed to come out on strike', 1 December, page 4).

• A picture of a moon base and spacecraft by the famous space artist RA Smith that accompanied an article on a previously lost 1963 episode of the BBC's The Sky at Night unfortunately failed to credit the artist (Unearthed: Arthur C Clarke's mistaken moon prediction, 2 December, page 10).

• An article, Wales must keep faith with the spirit of Speed's legacy, 29 November, page 10, Sport, said that Mike Ruddock, former head coach of the Wales rugby team, was dismissed before the start of the Six Nations tournament in 2006. In fact, he resigned during the tournament.
